Thanks to You | 2022 in Review

The photography season with families and the few weddings I take on builds as the year goes. The beginning of the year is a time of rest and personal creativity, while early spring brings sunlight, green on the trees, flowers in the gardens, and families growing and changing. There comes a time each year where I wonder if I’ll continue pursuing photography in this way, and as I look through the year and the wonderful people I get to work with, the resounding answer is firmly, yes! What I loved the most this past year was how clients fully put their trust in me and in turn, I was trusting myself. I went on new adventures and photographed stories for others in a way that made my heart so incredibly full and happy. When we stayed closer to home, nap times were skipped, bed times were pushed out, but the light was too good to miss and it was a celebratory moment for all. Having that shift be the foundation of how sessions were schedule made all the difference, and with that in mind, I very much look forward to what the new year will bring.

Thank you all for your trust in my art and having me along for the best moments in your lives, capturing your here and now. After all, these days are fleeting and there’s no time like the present. I look forward to seeing you in 2023!
